Sarah Kay
Sarah is the Co-host on Scott and Sarah in the Morning on 94.9 WQMX in Akron, Ohio. She was born and raised in Northeast, Ohio. She has been in the radio business since 2004 and been part of the WQMX team since 2008. Sarah graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and always knew she wanted to be on the radio.
With her love of country music, she became a part of the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music in 2015. Scott and Sarah in the Morning has been nominated for multiple CMA & ACM Medium Market Personality of the Year Awards, while the station was nominated and won an ACM for Medium Market Station of the Year in 2016.
Sarah loves the color pink, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland sports, spending time with family and friends and by far her most favorite country artist is Sugarland! She loves expressing herself with fun hats and head gear, so if you see her out and about with a cupcake or ice cream hat on- that’s just Sarah.

Friday was the day- the Official WQMX Halloween Party at the Dusty and it was everything! Y'all are super creative! I had all the fun checking out all your costumes, and walking around dressed up like a giant can of White Claw- Team Black Cherry for life! The rest of my weekend was full of football and trick or treating and per usual, I bought too much candy!
Ain't no laws when your wearing claws either! I made it work and put together a homemade White Claw can costume for Halloween! I had lots of help- Producer James, the Warren and me haha! Thank you! It took time, a bit more money than I thought, but it turned out great and I love it. I will see yout tonight at the Dusty Armadillo tonight for the WQMX Official Halloween Party!
