Over the past number of years Sam Hunt has written, recorded and produced some big songs.  He was -  at first especially  - highly influential with other artist in Nashville as they watched his big early successes.  It soon seemed that everyone had to have their own "Sam Hunt Sounding Song."  It soon became very apparent that sound and style works for Sam and not other established stars who have their own identity, sound and style.  And that trend with them wore off pretty quick and they resumed regular programming  - mercifully.  I mean you are who you are.  And being fair, Hunt himself has evolved as an artist, and his sound has adjusted as well.  Full disclosure, Sam Hunt's music has hit and missed with me over the years, but I don't think that makes me unique.  Hunt can be a very polarizing artist.  But I have really liked some songs too. I loved Water Under The Bridge  the single before this, and I like this as well.  Hunt is an original for sure, and his style works well for him.  So grab a coffee and earbuds and check out  -  Outskirts!
