Jake Owen recently earned his 10th #1 single "Best Thing Since Backroads", and now he is releasing his next single to radio. "Up There Down Here" praises the women in his life who bring heaven to earth and features his laid back sound.

“I really loved this song from the minute I heard it," Jake said in a press release. "All of us boys are lucky to find these angels here on earth. I happen to be lucky enough to raise two of them." Of course that would be his daughters Pearl and Paris. The song will be included on his upcoming seventh studio album, which we will keep you updated on!

Yesterday, Cody Johnson made an appearance on the TODAY Show and talked to Hoda and Jenna about inspirations for his newest album "Human: The Double Album". He also performed his hit single "'Til You Can't"! You can watch all of it below! 

Kenny Chesney has released his next radio single and this one features tour mates Old Dominion! "Beer With My Friends" is a good time party anthem co-written by Shy Carter, David Lee Murphy, and Bryan Simpson. Kenny says that when he first heard the song, he knew it would be one that would truly connect with his audience. 

Conner Smith has released his next single to radio, it's called "Take It Slow". Conner says this is one of his favorite songs he's gotten to be a part of writing. He co-wrote it with Ryan Hurd, and they really just tried to capture the emotion of one of those nights that you never want to end.

Scotty McCreery is following up his fifth #1 single "Damn Strait" with "It Matters To Her". Scotty says the song is everything that he's learned in his first four years of being a husband, it's the little things that make the biggest difference.

Country newcomer Shane Profitt has released his debut single "How It Ought To Be" from his debt EP Maury County Line. The song, which was co-written by Shane, is a list of the way the world would be if he had his way. 

Tonight, for our New Song Spotlight we featured Zach Bryan and his song "Something In The Orange" from his album American Heartbreak. The ballad was written by Zach in a cabin in Wisconsin and began releasing parts of the song via social media this past December. 

Kolby Cooper stopped by this morning to talk with Scott & Sarah, play a couple of his tunes, and hear his song "Excuses" on the radio for the first time! This is the lead single from his debut major label album "Boy From Anderson County To The Moon", and it was inspired by his guitar players sudden break up.
