Wrasslin' Wednesday

Written by

Saturday is WWE's Bash in Berlin! It's definitley setting up to be another interesting Premium Live Event.

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens

This one is tough with 2-baby faces battling...  I know there have been hints of a heel turn by Owens.  There hasn't been enough invested in that yet.  I don't think KO has to win in Germany to sell or not sell something.  SO in my opinion there won't be a change of title at least.  It should be a great match narrowly won by Cody Rhodes!

Women's Tag Team Championship: Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair vs. Unholy Union

The duo of Unholy Union really survived the last Premium Live Event because of a 3rd team involved.  Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair either need to carry the belts or need to get into the singles division.  They are too good to be putting over tag teams...  it just shows the division is lack luster.  It seems like they are all singles wrestlers being forced upon the card to fill it.  Cargill and Belair are too good for that and will at least have gold after Saturday.

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre (Strap Match)

This one will set up the Rubber Match for Bad Blood in October...  CM Punk will take this one and they will have to settle up in the 3rd...  There is still a lot of life in this one since the first 6 months of it they didn't even step in the ring together.   CM Punk takes this one...

Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio (Mixed Tag Match)

There is no way that Liv and Dom are better than the Terror Twins...  But I don't think it is Rhea and Priest's Day in Germany.  A match that is not a staple Event and basically keeps the storyline going.  Liv and Dom definitley have heat!!!  Even if it is for all the wrong reasons.  Plus Judgement Day still has more people that can cause problems during this one...  Liv and Dom take this one with Judgement Day's help.

World Heavyweight Championship: Randy Orton vs. Gunther

I think this was based around Gunther being in Berlin.  I do not think Randy Orton goes away silently.  He is the Viper.  I think Gunther pulls out the victory and Mr. Ring General that supposedly follows the rules will probably have to break them to get by the Legend Killer.   I would not be suprised to see Orton pop-up later in the Reign of Gunther.  This  one could also have a wonky ending like the last with the questionable shoulder pin?  Gunther retains the title...

Remember these are just my guesses and opinions... no concrete information behind these just what I am seeing.   Have fun watching and I post Wrasslin' Wednesday's The Wednesday before the WWE Premium Live Events.
