The Super Sturgeon Moon

Written by

As your overnight host on WQMX, I consider it my realm and duty to let you know about any cool space happenings. Especially if it has to do with the moon, I'm all about looking up towards the stars to try to catch a view of a celestial spectacle. Clearly, from the Northern Lights to the Eclipse this year, I'm not alone in my enthusiasm and interest in the subject.

We've got something awesome tonight, actually. It's a super blue moon out there Monday night into Tuesday here, though you probably won't be able to see it. We're overcast till dawn, but maybe you can get a glimpse.

Regardless, here's some more information on this special August moon: August's Rare Super Blue Moon: How and When You Can See It | TIME

Thanks for listening to 94.9 WQMX- day and night!
