It's been a productive week for me in many regards. We put some work in doing stuff around the house, fixing our bathroom faucet and such. I've checked off a few additional items on the old to-do list, and one of the priorities was dealing with my Blazer.
I drove it on over to my dad's place for help replacing the passenger wheel bearing, and while I was there, I decided to check my fluid levels. I'm sure glad I did, as the oil dipstick came back as dry as a bone.
That's no good!
So, yesterday, I went to purchase some more 5w30, and I opted for the big jug. At no extra cost, an oil filter could be thrown in as well. Since that set me up to do an oil change, I went ahead and did so.
That gives me peace of mind going into these colder months; I'm glad I got it done. I'm still not exactly ready for snow, though. My 4x4 system works intermittently, and my heat doesn't blow out the vents. These issues could put me down bad, but I'll get it all together soon enough with a little TLC.
I've got all winter to sit on the couch. Let's get it done now!
Some good music always helps me accomplish things. Thanks for listening to 94.9 WQMX.
