Just yesterday, CBS announced a new show for the fall of 2025 with a country artist we all know and love. It's definitely not his first time on TV, and he's teamed up with the creator of a sensational series you may be a fan of, too. 

You know how they say; when one door closes, another one opens up? Well, after his run on The Voice ended over a year ago, I guess he's ready to get back into television with a big name holding that door open for him. Blake Shelton has joined Taylor Sheridan, the mastermind behind the hugely popular Yellowstone, to create a brand-new reality show. 

It's a singing competition series called The Road, in which cameras will follow a headlining superstar on their tour and in the search for the next big thing. Contestants will compete for their spot on the bill in attempts to continue their journey to stardom... That's about all we know- for now. 

Blake's a seasoned veteran when it comes to touring and it's not his first rodeo kickstarting careers in music, either. This should be a natural fit for him and a good watch, overall. I'm excited to check it out when the time comes, and as more information comes out from CBS, I'll be sure to keep you in the loop here!
