I put my boat away for the season a few weeks back thinking Winter was on its way...

While it still is coming- for now, it has been much more temperate than expected outside. I mean, today, November 5th, they're calling for it to be nearly 80 degrees! That's nothing short of incredible, and I'm surely not going to miss out on these late opportunities to enjoy the warmth and sunshine.

It was even nice enough for me to ride the motorcycle in to the station for the overnight shift here. It's warmer in this overnight than your typical November day in Ohio at high noon! That really says something.

I still want to have a snowy and cold winter come our way, and snowy is the key word there. I don't like the lower 40° days when the leaves have already mostly hit the ground, the sun goes down before 6 PM, and the world is cold and grey. We'll go deeper on that topic another time, but for now I'm just making the most of this awesome weather. Be sure to do the same.
