It's cold! 

For the overnight into Wednesday, the temperature dropped to below 30 degrees outside. That's pretty chilly.

I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you to get ready for winter. What came to front of mind for me is disconnecting your garden hose, something I still need to do. On top of that, be sure that your furnace is up to shape and good to go. Check your windows, too, to ensure they're fully closed and sealed. 

While you're at it, now's a great time to pick up some melting salt if you're low on the stuff. You know how it goes- the first big storm hits and the stores are wiped out.
