I feel the Browns played the best game they may have played in years this weekend, dominating a good Cincy team. They scored like they should, played great defense and grabbed turnovers. All on the road.  I think it was on par with the playoff win over the Steelers last year - overall maybe better!

In a week when it all could have gone wrong, it didn't. That drama filled week where it seemed that they didn't have their eyes looking out the windshield, but rather the rear view mirror.  The Browns seemed ready to play, and after the first quarter were in complete charge of that game. There have not been too many of those recently.  But being honest, that's how they should look in many games and do not.  I, like you, was a bit nervous early on when we really didn't have the ball for almost the first quarter.  And they need to clean that up, as the Browns defense can't let that happen, but they got it together and changed the game with the pick six, and Cincy never recovered. 

The Browns also seemed focused on what they can control.  Even after that ridiculous penalty seemingly called from New York, 30 seconds after a play was over.  In games past that may haven been handled differently by the Browns.  Side note - NO MATTER who you are a fan of, the officiating in the NFL is putrid.  Why these clowns wearing stripes think its their job to decide games is beyond me.  The league needs to address this. It's every game it seems.

Now, it's on to New England, and another game the Browns need to win.  We are at the point of the season where these games really matter.  The Patriots will be ready to play, so it will be a tough road game. It's winning time, and this should be a win!

But play like Sunday -  and all will be just fine.  It was about perfect!
