Back Where I Come From  - Kenny Chesney  - 1996  (Album  -  Me And You)

This is one of my favorite Chesney songs by far.  This was written by a GREAT songwriter named Mac McAnally, and recorded by him in 1990, and it went to #14 on the charts.  When Chesney re-did this gem in 1996, it was a big hit.  This is also a great concert song for him.  This is just great country music, and when Chesney did this, it was really who he was at that moment.  The thing about this version of this song is, I believe every note that Chesney sings here and to me that is the hallmark of a great country song.
