Monday the Throwback was 'Livin on Love' by Alan Jackson.  The song really and truly is a masterpiece!  If you are not familiar here:

 It sure doesn't take much more than what Alan is singing about right there...

Dear Grace... she called in after the song played.

Grace said "was that Livin on Love?"  I said, "yes ma'am".  She went and told me a story.  That song was her husband's favorite along with Remember When.  Sadly Grace's husband fell ill and was in hospice care.  A musician came in to play those 2 songs for her husband and Grace...  I could tell from her voice cracking that she was getting emotional...  I said thank you for sharing! Grace that was an amazing story.  She said 'Thank you' for playing that song (voice cracking) and hung up...  Music is powerful!  It can take you right back to a place and time when you heard it or draw on an incredible memory of the person you were with at the time.  

Alan Jackson can draw on that emotion and truly could sing the phone book or IKEA Furniture Instructions and it would sound amazing. 

These 2 songs could live in my head forever!  Along with about 30+ Alan Jackson Song's...
