Thursday's the day; it's time for another top ten list! 

This time around, why don't we rank emojis? There are hundreds, maybe thousands from which to choose. Some are classics like the red heart while others make me ask, "Who's using this and why?" There are so many random, seemingly pointless ones in existence and yet, I still find myself sometimes searching for one that doesn't exist. 

I'm not a heavy emoji user, but I certainly like to spice up a conversation here and there. There's a time and a place for them, and you've got to know specifically which ones to use and where. If you're unsure in any circumstance, ask a youngster. Maybe we can teach them cursive, in exchange! (a joke) 

They'd probably know, for example, which emojis to use to accent your Instagram post or what someone means when they send: blank. It truly is like a new form of communication which takes some newfound literacy to grasp. 

Still, in the end, they're just cute little pictures. There's no emoji rulebook, per se. There is an Emoji movie, I guess.
