Of course this week we had the big snow of 2022, Izzy showed up.  I don't care if I even spelled her name right, anyone that dumps that much snow on the ground gets no love from me. 

We joked on the air Tuesday after playing a Menards commercial at 555 AM, about how many snowblowers they must have sold Monday, then we moved on. So Tuesday after the smoke had cleared and we are able to move freely about again with better weather, I stopped at a Home Depot to buy some very exciting Flex Tubing. (I know how to live).  BUT when I walked in there, it was amazing. CLEANED OUT!  One sad, skinny, scrawny snow thrower left. Almost like a power shovel.  I went down to Lowe's, same thing.

So for a silly research project I went to another Lowe's and HD to investigate.   GONE, toast, Nada, zip, all gone.  Every store said they have never seen anything like it. They just flat out sold out quickly.  So,I DID hit a Menards, and the same sad story there, all gone!

I can't ever remember a snow incident that got as many people off their wallets as this one and people bought snowblowers.  Now you are covered for years. But that's what 20 inches of snow will do to you.  We had ours going, and every year when I fire that thing up and we get to snow throwing, I'm a happy guy, as my actual shoveling days are officially over.

And after my Lowe's, Home Depot and Menards visits  -   seems yours are too!
