Shooter Jennings  - Fourth Of July - 2005  (Album - Put The "O" In Country)

Waylon's son recorded this gem, and it may have been a bit ahead of its time, but that makes this no less cool.  I love this song that only peaked at #26 on the country charts.  But this song is a cult classic, and those who have found Shooter Jennings love this song.  We played this on WQMX for a time at the time, and I'm glad we did. There are always songs that should have been bigger hits and this is one of them.  But in music, as in life, timing is everything.  Definition of the Forgotten Jukebox -   And perfect for this week!   BTW he is a five time Grammy nominee.
