If you find yourself in downtown Akron and you've never stopped by Chill Ice Cream across from Lock 3, you're missing out. After an afternoon of skateboarding in the city, my friend and I were looking for a way to cool down when we stumbled upon this little ice cream shop. The sign on the door indicated there was a Tuesday Special: two pints for $10. 

Well, there were two of us and we each had $5, so that deal was a no-brainer. My buddy picked some chocolate mix flavored ice cream, and he was raving over it. 

Myself... I went for the grape. It was more like a sorbet, and it was amazing! The flavor was spot-on, and the non-dairy consistency was great too. The outside heat eventually turned it into something of a slushy, and that only made it better. I tore it up! 

Don't be surprised if you find me in there again next Tuesday; that stuff was good enough for me to want a stockpile. I can't speak for the other varieties, but if you're a grape fanatic like I am, you know where to go.
