WYNN - The Forgotten Jukebox

Written by
Yard Sale - Sammy Kershaw - 1992  - (Album - Don't Go Near The Water)   This was not Sammy Kershaws biggest song by any means, but this is perfect for the Forgotten Jukebox Series.  This is a song that is a great example of a song ending up where it should.  This song is simply perfect for Sammy Kershaw as only he could have pulled this off.  This is a sad song about the…
Randy Travis – Just A Matter Of Time  - 1989 Yeah it's a remake, beit a savvy one.  And we're going to treat this actual song with the proper respect it deserves. Many times remakes are a tribute to the original, like Brooks And Dunn's, My Maria.  That was not overly far from the B.W. Stevenson original which was great!  This song by Randy Travis was arranged very different from the original and the other…

Everyone says to eat salmon, it's good for you!  I have no doubt that's true!  But cooking it, well that can be a challenge to make it taste good.  So here you (we) go.  Let's give this a go! How To Cook Salmon (Yeah, Right!)

Thanks for Reading! Were They OR Weren't They - Part 1 Were They OR Weren't They - Part…

WYNN - Forgotten Jukebox

Don't Get Me Started - Rhett Akins - 1996  - (Album - Somebody New) The 1990's were so jam packed with great stars and songs, it's hard to keep up with it all, but the Forgotten Jukebox is doing it's job today.  Rhett Akins (Thomas Rhetts dad) was and is still an incredible song writer. In the 90's he himself had a few hits, and I liked them all.  Many times in this crazy biz,…
Ronnie Milsap – Lost In The Fifties Tonight -  1985 As we inch towards the top of my Top 50 list, the really big songs are showing up. This song from Ronnie Milsap was one of his biggest hits and was universally loved by country fans and non country fans - and still is.  In an era when Country was still trying to decide which direction to go, this song towered over most that year. …
